Paul Chung presentation and workshop (7.30-8.00pm)
As one of the industry's most experienced and talented animators, Paul Chung has worked for feature film studios including Walt Disney; Warner Brothers and MGM. He supervised and did character design on 'SpaceJam' for Warner Brothers; Animated on the Academy Award winner "Who framed Roger Rabbit?" and directed the "Pocahontas Storybook Video game" for Walt Disney. Paul later joined Dreamworks animation as a directing animator, working on a number of high profile animated features films including Shrek, Madagascar, Bee Movie and Megamind. |
Sayako Sugawara activity
Sayako is the Art department's resident Artist / Photographer. Drawing from memories of her own childhood Sayako Sugawara's ongoing interest is the exploration of the liminal. She works predominantly in Photographic and moving images, but also uses a variety of other mediums from printmaking to sculpture installations to investigate the transient nature of her work. Sayako has been working in the department since the beginning of the academic year creating work based on the objects found in the photography department. |
Speed Drawing- A competition for Artists aged 8 - 18 (7.15 - 7.45)
Each entrant must have a model- someone to draw.
